How do I schedule shows on the 7-day calendar?
YonaCast Radio includes a precise 7-Day Playout Scheduler (Yonaflow) to organize your station's broadcasts throughout the week.
How to schedule a block:
- Go to the **Programs** page from your sidebar.
- Select the target day of the week (e.g. Monday, Tuesday, etc.) using the tabs at the top of the schedule timeline.
- Click **+ Add Program** or drag a time block on the schedule grid.
- Fill in the show details: select the target **Playlist**, set the **Start Time**, and specify the **Duration** in hours or minutes.
- Hit **Save**. The timeline grid will immediately update to block out the scheduled time.
Shuffle & Seeds Explained:
If you check the "Shuffle" option on a playlist, the scheduler generates a unique daily shuffle seed. This ensures that the tracks in the playlist shuffle into a fresh, non-repeating timeline sequence every day at midnight, avoiding repeating shuffles.
EPG Preview:
Click on any block on your timeline grid to preview the exact track list, cue sheet timestamps, and playout orders scheduled for that program block.
