How do folders in the Media Library work?

YonaCast Radio features structured **media folders** to help broadcasters manage thousands of audio tracks efficiently.

Creating Folders:

1. Go to the **Media Library** page from the sidebar.
2. Click the **New Folder** button.
3. Type in a name (e.g. Jingles, Commercials, Sunday Shows) and hit **Create**.

Moving files and folders:

You can move audio tracks or folders into other directories to maintain a clean workspace:

1. Select the checkbox next to the files or folders you want to move.
2. Click the **Move Selected** button.
3. Select the destination directory from the folder tree that appears.
4. Click **Confirm Move**. All files will immediately relocate to the new path.

Integrating folders with playlists:

When you edit playlists, you can add tracks folder by folder, or browse individual directories to select specific tracks to build your schedules.
